For musical accompaniment, all couples must work with our Organist and Director of Sacred Music, Johnum Palado (phone: 318-221-5990 or email: jpalado@holytrinity-shreveport.com) minimum one month before the wedding date.  Other organists, accompanists, and instrumentalists will be considered upon request, but must be approved by the pastor of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.  Suggested music selections will be offered, but the couple is welcome to request their own selections.  The director will do his best to respect the couple's wishes, but the director has final say in selected music for the sanctity of the wedding service.  Please note that recorded, secular, and Protestant music selections are not allowed.

MUSICIAN FEES

Customary musician fees are as follows.  

• Organist: $250
• Cantor: $150
• Instrumentalist (i.e., violin, trumpet): $150*

*rates may change if the couple requests an instrumentalist with their own fee.

Remuneration for all musicians must be paid to the church office in advance - not to the musicians.

Though the YouTube video may not sound exactly how the selection will be played at the wedding, it will provide a relatively good idea of the tune and text (if applicable).

Please discuss any requests not on this list with the Director of Sacred Music.  Recorded music is never appropriate for the Catholic liturgy.
